Digital skills are essential for everyday life. From applying for jobs and accessing healthcare to communicating with schools and managing finances. In our own classes, we saw many capable individuals being held back by gaps in foundational tech skills, so we created a course to meet them where they are.

Our Digital Literacy program builds confidence with computers, the internet, email, online safety, and more — opening doors to opportunity and independence.

Huge thanks to our partners @elevateutahcenter and the @guadcenter for helping us offer this course in Salt Lake City and Springville, and a special thank you to Tech-Moms alumna @andie_codes for instructing our Springville class and giving back in such a meaningful way.

We’re excited to launch a new Digital Literacy class in partnership with Elevate Utah, starting March 5 at the Springville Public Library.
Why does this matter? Because today’s world assumes everyone knows how to use a computer. Job applications, school communication, workplace tools, and healthcare portals. So much of life happens online. And not everyone has had the opportunity to learn those skills.
This family-friendly class meets once a week for two hours and is designed to strengthen foundational computer skills in a supportive, welcoming environment. Adults can attend on their own or bring school-aged children to learn alongside them.
Participants will explore tools commonly used in professional and collaborative environments, including Google Workspace, Slack, communication platforms, productivity tools, and digital organization best practices.
